Heading up the team at The "OQH" is our General Manager Tina, known as our very own Mary Poppins ("practically perfect in every way"). Tina has been with Salisbury Pubs for 8 years and was part of the launch team at The Old Queens Head when it re-opened just over 5 years ago, so she knows her stuff. Tina is a grafter in every sense and is not satisfied unless everyone is having a great time, customers and staff alike!

Ably helped by her fab Deputy Matt (a keen cricketer and born-again cyclist) with his wicked sense of humour and Assistant Manager Ryan, a natural host, who's always smiling (and has probably never done a days exercise in his life!), Tina leads an experienced team and they do a great job maintaining the "Salisbury" style in this lovely old building.

Hidden away in the kitchen, our Head Chef Marcus (whilst fresh off the boat from South Africa) is an old friend and has spent many years in English kitchens (including a spell with M.P.W.) and is a committed champion of British food. Fresh, local, free range and even wild where possible, his team only uses great quality ingredients with sound provenance and their food is quite simply - delicious. We're quite sure that now, more than ever, you're going to be spoilt for choice.

Many of our bar and floor staff have been with us since the day we took over the pub and they've pulled out all the stops to learn our ways and deliver great service with a big, genuine smile. Mostly local, their excitement in helping to bring the pub back to life makes training a pleasure. You can feel the team (or should we say family) spirit that Tina has created spilling into every corner of the pub.
